A new survey has found that aspiring lawyers in generation Z (gen Z) (born between 1995-2012) are 60% less likely to join the US’s largest 200 firms than they were three years ago.
Partners at US law firm Kirkland & Ellis International LLP earned more than $9 million last year on average, marking a 16% increase from the previous year. The surge in earnings comes as the firm's revenue soared by 22% to a record $8.8 billion, solidifying its status as the world's highest-grossing law firm.
More than five million people and families with children could qualify for free legal help if the new UK government implements changes recommended by the 2023 Means Test Review, according to the Law Society.
