Nine law firms feature in The Times’ top 50 employers for women 2015. The annual special report is now in its fifth year of acknowledging organisations which are taking steps to create fairer, better workplaces for women.
The firms to make the list are, in unranked and alphabetical order:
- Freshfields Bruchaus Deringer;
- Herbert Smith Freehills;
- Hogan Lovells;
- Norton Rose Fulbright;
- Obelisk Support
- Olswang LLP; and
- Simmons & Simmons.
All UK employers are free to enter their organisations for consideration and must be able to demonstrate that gender equality is a key part of their business strategy. Judges found that each of the organisations to make the list had made progress in areas such as flexible working, unconscious bias training in recruitment and equal pay to create a fairer environment for women employees.
