While Gray’s Inn is the smallest of the four Inns, it still offers more than £1.5 million in scholarships, awards and prizes each year. It awards more than 100 Bar course scholarships. All scholars receive a basic award of £5,000, with the option to apply for both an additional means-tested financial uplift, and a residential scholarship to live within the Inn’s estate. Scholarships can be valued as high as £25,000.
There are also 35 GDL scholarships up for grabs for non-law students, starting from £2,500 in value and rising to £15,000. Finally, there’s a comprehensive programme to support its members beyond their studies, through several pupillage scholarships, internship scholarships and various additional prizes. Detailed information on all of Gray’s Inn’s scholarships can be found via its website and enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
