Main responsibilities
This role has several key responsibilities including:
- preparing and drafting legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legal standards;
- managing legal files, including opening, closing, and filing documents in an organised and efficient manner;
- drafting and reviewing wills (both basic and complex), along with related legal documents such as Lasting Powers of Attorney;
- communicating with third parties, including the Office of the Public Guardian and other relevant bodies;
- serving as the primary point of contact for current and potential clients, offering professional and timely assistance;
- scheduling appointments and coordinating with legal advisors to manage client consultations effectively;
- handling incoming calls and addressing enquiries from both existing and new clients in a friendly and efficient manner; and
- updating and maintaining client databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
