Slaughter and May announces highest retention of qualifying trainees among Magic Circle

Slaughter and May has announced that it will be keeping on 95% of trainees qualifying in Spring 2014, the highest retention rate among the Magic Circle this year.
The firm will keep on 38 of its 40 current trainees, with all 38 qualifying into the London office on permanent contracts. As reported by Lawyer2B, the remaining two trainees decided not to apply for permanent positions at the firm.
Robert Byk, graduate recruitment partner at Slaughter and May, said: "We are delighted that our retention rate continues to be very high - our recruitment has always been focused on long-term retention and career development."
