Global law firm Dentons has announced its latest retention rate of 76%, with 28 out of 37 trainees staying on across its UK, Ireland and Middle East offices.

The firm also confirmed that, following the introduction of a new Irish training programme, the first cohort of trainees in its Dublin office are expected to qualify in 2027.

According to Legal Cheek, newly qualified solicitors can expect salaries of £104,000 in London, £70,000 in Milton Keynes and £65,000 in Scotland.
Dentons joins a number of firms that have recently revealed their retention rates, including Mills & Reeve (92%), Clifford Chance (86%), Bird & Bird (75%), Pinsent Masons (73%) and Hogan Lovells (67%).
