We're excited to announce that we will be running our annual WeilAccessAbility insight evening this year. WeilAccessAbility is our network group for anyone who is interested in better understanding and advocating for disability inclusion, focusing on the challenges facing people with disabilities and long-term health conditions and those who are neurodivergent. The group’s approach and initiatives are underpinned by the social model of disability, which states that people are disabled by barriers in society, not by their disability or impairment. The early careers team will also provide information on the reasonable adjustments available throughout the recruitment process and once at Weil. WeilAccessAbility is open to all.
Date: Wednesday 29th October
Time: 16:30 - 19:00
Location: 110 Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1AY
During the insight evening, our partners, counsel, associates, and trainees will share their professional and personal experiences, focusing on how these relate to their identity and/or background. You'll also have the chance to ask questions and take part in discussions. In addition, there'll be plenty of opportunities to network with lawyers, the early careers team and other members of the firm over drinks and canapés.
The agenda will be as follows:
You can apply for an insight evening if you're a penultimate-year law student, a finalist, or a graduate from any degree discipline.
Reimbursed
Please let us know if you require any additional support to attend the insight evening. Please contact the early careers team on 020 7903 1000 or at [email protected] if you'd like to speak to a member of the team in confidence before submitting your application.
