We have a wide range of study options to meet your needs, from degrees with optional foundation years to online and accelerated programmes that prepare you for a professional career from day one.

Postgraduate Diploma in Law (full-time/part-time/online)
Learn to think like a lawyer with our Postgraduate Diploma in Law conversion course. This course replaces our Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and is the new pathway into practice for non-law graduates who want to progress onto the SQE1 Preparation Course or our LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 and 2) to qualify as a solicitor, or the Bar Practice Course (BPC) to qualify as a barrister.

MA Law (Conversion) (full-time/part-time/online)
Master of Arts in Law conversion course is a specially designed postgraduate degree for non-law graduates who want to gain a general legal qualification at Master’s level. As an internationally recognised qualification, a Law Master’s is a great addition to your portfolio. With a strong level of support from the start, this course is a great introduction to law if you hold an undergraduate degree in another discipline. Successful completion of the MA Law (Conversion) qualifies you to progress on to study the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) to become a solicitor or the Bar Practice Course (BPC) to become a barrister.

MA Law (SQE1) (full-time/part-time/online) 
Our new MA Law (SQE1) is a law conversion course and includes our SQE1 preparation course, which prepares students for the SQE1 assessments. The course is designed for non-law graduates who want to qualify as a solicitor and gain a legal qualification at Master’s level. As an internationally recognised qualification, a law Master’s is a great addition to your portfolio.

LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 and 2) (full-time/part-time/online)
Our LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 and 2) course is designed for graduates who want to qualify as a solicitor using the new SQE route to practice and also gain a Master’s award. We focus on the skills that employers are seeking so that you can enhance your academic knowledge while preparing for the realities of life in legal practice. This course will ensure you’re fully prepared for your career as a solicitor, as well as success in the SQE exams.

SQE1 Preparation Course (full-time/part-time/online)
This course is for those who wish to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales using the SQE pathway to qualification. The course will prepare you for the SRA’s centralised SQE1 assessments, which will test functioning legal knowledge (FLK). It is part of our new suite of SQE courses. This course is designed for law graduates or those who’ve completed a law conversion course, including our SQE Law Essentials.

SQE2 Preparation Course (full-time/part-time/online)
This course is for those who wish to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales with the SQE pathway. This course will prepare you for the SRA’s centralised SQE2 skills assessments, which will test the practical legal skills of client interviewing, advocacy, legal writing, drafting and research, and case and matter analysis. It is part of our new suite of SQE courses. This course is designed for those who’ve completed SQE1 training, such as our SQE1 Preparation Course.

Legal Practice Course (full-time/part-time/online)
We’re confident that our LPC is the best preparation for entering legal practice by offering you the skills to succeed in the business world. Our client focused LPC course enables you to develop commercial awareness, critical thinking, and the necessary professional skills to prepare you for the challenges of working as a solicitor. Study our LPC and you can gain an MSc in Law, Business and Management or an LLM in Professional Legal Practice at no extra cost. LPC Masters students may also be eligible for a postgraduate student loan.

Bar Practice Course (full-time/part-time)
Our BPC is uniquely structured to mirror the real-life experience of a barrister in practice. Our live selection process ensures you’ll study in small groups with the brightest students. You’ll also get the opportunity to complete up to 50 hours of advocacy training. With our BPC LLM you can choose from three pathways to success and may also be eligible for postgraduate funding.

LLMs (full-time/part-time/online)
LLMs from our Master’s in Law suite of programmes are designed for law and non-law graduates who want to explore the practical application of a particular, specialist area of law. We have a wide range of LLM topics to choose from and with our flexible programme structure, you can design a degree pathway that suits you and meets your career objectives, whatever they might be.

US Bar Preparation Course
Developed in partnership with Themis, one of the largest US Bar exam preparation providers, this career-enhancing course will prepare you to pass the New York or California Bar Exam so you can qualify as an attorney for the New York or California Bar. This online course has been designed especially for non-US law graduates and lawyers by building upon your existing knowledge and developing your legal analysis and communication skills.
