Pro bono Initiatives

Lawyers Without Borders

Lawyers without Borders is a transnational alliance network that seeks to bring lawyers and judges wishing to carry out pro bono work together with rule of law and access to justice projects. There are opportunities for students both in London and internationally (the project is based in the US). Internships are unpaid and require minimal commitment of two days per week or six continuous weeks. Over the past decade, it's engaged more than 86,500 hours of pro bono service, valued at more than $36.5 million.

Lawyers without Borders consults with volunteers to understand their interests, expertise and availability, before assigning them projects that align with those.
