Asylum Support Appeals Project

The Asylum Support Appeals Project (ASAP) aims to reduce destitution amongst asylum seekers by protecting their legal rights to food and shelter.

ASAP carries out three types of work:

  1. It offers free, high-quality legal advice to people across the UK who are appealing Home Office decisions to refuse or withdraw accommodation or financial support.
  2. It increases access to specialist asylum support advice nationwide by helping organisations develop their skills through free training, a second-tier advice line and an online advice network.
  3. It addresses the root causes of destitution and strengthens access to justice through policy work and litigation.
