This organisation emerged as a product of the Windsor Conference in 1984, which was hosted following the race riots of the preceding years. It now sees itself as more important than ever in the campaign to value diverse young talent: its specific work focus is young people of BAME origin. There are a variety of internship, mentoring and fellowship programmes targeted at different age groups.
