Diversity Access Schemes

Access Aspiration

Access Aspiration aims to create greater visibility of career pathways for 16 to 18-year-olds from low-income and underrepresented backgrounds who are finding it difficult to connect with employers. Access Aspiration targets schools in boroughs that have a high proportion of students who are eligible for free school meals and works to connect them with businesses across London for work experience, mock interviews and CV workshops.

Nearly 15,000 students have been supported. Since it was founded in 2014, 1,741 work experience placements have happened, as well as 5,593 mock interviews and 4,131 employability workshops.
