Industrial disease (noise induced hearing loss) team leader vacancies
Department: Industrial disease (NIHL)

QLS currently have exciting opportunities for industrial disease (NIHL) team leaders for a number of their office locations to lead, inspire, manage and motivate a team of industrial disease (NIHL) fee earners to deliver the business KPI’s and financial performance by the implementation of the commercially aligned business plan.
Main responsibilities will include:-
- To manage the progression of cases in a timely and pro-active manner. The unit caseload, of up to 1,200 cases will consist of type 1 and 2 NIHL cases including all pre litigation steps up to and including settlement. The responsibilities within the team will include PAD applications; restoration applications, portal submissions, letters of claim.

Team responsibilities will exclude cases where the following ‘exit criteria’ (detailed below) are met:-
- The case is of a type which should be allocated to a technical team;
- Liability is denied;
- No response to liability is received (but PAD process has been exhausted);
- Claims involving general damages valued in excess of £10,000;
- Claims were more complex medical evidence is required.
- To provide technical/claims handling support to the fee earners in the team.
- To deal with ad hoc, day to day enquiries raised by the fee earners.
NIHL (industrial disease) fee earner vacancies (admitted and contested)

Main responsibilities:
- Vet new Claims and run open new files within service legal agreements
- Assess liability and causation and submit claims
- Maintain regular and proactive contact with clients
Fast track RTA fee earner vacancies
Department: Fast track RTA
Location: Manchester, Leeds, Fareham and Aldershot
Main responsibilities:
- Running a caseload of files that have left the MOJ portal
- To comply with case management system and work flows and be responsible for own task pad
- To assess liability and quantum on own files
- To be a confident litigator, have a good working knowledge of the CPR and be able to run cases to disposal/trial
EL/PL fee earner vacancies
Department: EL/PL
Location: Liverpool and Aldershot
Main responsibilities:
- Vetting new claims and assessing liability
- Reviewing medical records and collating special damages
- Entering into negotiations with third party representatives and reaching settlement on files
MOJ (RTA) fee earner vacancies
Department: MOJ
Location: Liverpool, Fareham and Aldershot
Main responsibilities:
- Review and value the medical evidence and obtain the clients completed schedule of loss
- Prepare case appropriately for litigation and any relevant hearing
- Handling a caseload of circa 350 MOJ portal cases
LVI/Fraud fee earner vacancies
Department: LVI/fraud
Location: Chelmsford
Main responsibilities:
- To take individual responsibility for a caseload of circa 250 cases where LVI/fraud has been alleged
- To adhere to introducer service legal agreements
- To proactively progress new cases through to conclusion including all stages of litigation.
