Business development associate

We are looking for a business development associate to join our sales team. This is an entry level sales role with no previous sales experience required. This role involves approaching new clients by telephone and email to communicate our product offering to already warm prospects. What matters is energy and enthusiasm, and a mindset of someone who wants to work hard.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to start a sales career. We will teach you a sales structure that helps you to take control of any sales conversation, build trusted advisor status with your client and offer a tailored, solutions based, sales methodology that is transferable to any industry or product.

What you would be doing:

  • Identify users for the premium service, qualifying customer needs and scheduling sales calls
  • Calling new subscribers to the platform
  • Develop relationships with customers to support the generation of new business
  • Work with your colleagues in the company to ensure highest standards of delivery, learning how to spot and qualify opportunities
  • Develop a deep knowledge of our product and the legal information sector
  • Learn to effectively communicate, adjusting communication style depending on the audience
  • Update the CRM to ensure your pipeline accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage
  • Ensure your clients have signed contract and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations
