We currently have an opportunity for an office assistant to join our busy clinical negligence department in our London office on a twelve month contract.
The role will involve the successful applicant supporting the clinical negligence team with duties including, but not limited to: handling of all administration for the team, keeping the files up to date, screening telephone calls, preparing standard letters, drafting relevant pleadings, preparing court bundles, attending conferences with counsel to take notes and conducting legal research.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with colleagues and clients, strong organisational skills, and the ability to produce work to a high standard under pressure.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of basic legal concepts learnt from legal education (such as ILEX, LLB, LLM or LPC) or equivalent experience.
