Subscriptions salesperson
The person
We are seeking a subscriptions salesperson, based in London, to join our existing team in order to further raise the profile of the IP Media Group (IPMG) globally and drive subscriptions forward. Full training will be given, although previous experience will be a definite plus. The role reports to the IPMG Group publisher and is based by Borough Market in London.
Responsibilities
The role includes:
- enthusiastically and professionally presenting IPMG publications with each contact;
- converting triallists and other confirmed leads into paid subscribers via telesales;
- renewing existing subscribers via telephone and email;
- handling incoming calls from prospective subscribers;
- chasing outstanding payments and invoices.
- dealing with external subscriptions agencies and organisations
- working as part of a telesales team;
- assisting in generating ideas to improve targets and presentation;
- assisting in updating and improving database records in conjunction with the IT manager; and
- maintaining and keeping updated all records of contacts on a daily basis
