About our firm

We are a small but growing firm who has been established for over 13 years, with a varied and wide reaching client base. We are Lexcel accredited and have been recognised as Investors in People. Our firm offers a wide range of legal services in diverse practise areas including: family, litigation, conveyancing (residential and commercial), immigration, employment and wills and probate.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for pro-active and positive individuals who want to gain hands on legal and face to face client experience.

We currently have two roles at our firm working as a paralegal’s, allowing you to deal with clients directly as well as assisting fee earners in a wide range of legal matters. This will allow the right candidates to gain valuable hands on experience within a legal environment in our wide ranging legal areas. Our ethos is to offer our clients ‘total legal care’ and you will play a key role in ensuring this goal is achieved.

Our firm promotes from within, and as such the successful candidate may have the opportunity to work towards a training contract with our firm, following 12-18 months working as a full time paralegal.

Who are we looking for?

• Candidates will need to have successfully completed the LPC.
• Applicants will have excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages, some knowledge of legal software would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Candidates shall have excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates shall have a good positive and enthusiastic attitude and be able to work on their own initiative.
• The right applicant will be pro-active and well-organised.
• We are keen to hear from individuals who have experience of working within a legal environment and are living locally, although this is not an essential requirement and applicants from all locations and levels of experience are welcome to apply.

Further to this, you will have the opportunity to work with, assist and be trained by fee earners who have worked in the legal environment for a number of years.
