Paralegal
Solace Women’s Aid requires a paralegal to work in their small busy category 1 franchised family legal team. We specialise in domestic abuse and children act applications but also undertake all other areas of family law.
The candidate:
- Educated to degree/LPC level and have a knowledge and understanding of family law.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Organised and able to prioritise work.
- Ability to accurately record information using a case management system.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team.
- Good IT skills.
- To interview clients, conduct research, advise and negotiate on behalf of clients and prepare court documents.
- Minimum six months legal aid experience.
- Advocacy skills essential.
- Confident, enthusiastic and flexible.
- Work well within a team.
