Paralegal (real estate)
We have been instructed on a large project to investigate and report on a large volume of property titles. To deliver by the deadline we need to recruit additional resource to support our existing real estate team.
We are looking for five paralegals who have completed their LPC and undertaken the advanced commercial property elective as part of their studies, or paralegals who have experience of working on commercial property matters.
Individuals need to be available to start in January 2014 and commit for the required project duration (nine months). *Please submit any periods of holiday in advance with your application.*
The successful candidates will be asked to investigation work on freehold and leasehold titles and produce reports on those titles to the client, under the supervision of one of our real estate lawyers. The work will involve following a set process that will be covered as part of the induction.
Candidates need to be extremely IT literate particularly in Microsoft packages and in using the Internet. We will provide all relevant training on our systems including time recording.
This is an excellent opportunity to get legal work experience for those yet to start their training contract. Alternatively, we are happy to accept applications from commercial property paralegals.
Salary: £22,000 (pro-rated for duration of contract).
