An exciting opportunity for a trainee solicitor to join and train within the in-house legal team at a world leading university.
Within this position you will advise the university, under the supervision of senior legal counsel, on a broad range of risk and compliance matters (including commercial contracts, litigation, data protection and employment law), whilst also completing the Legal Practice Course and period of recognised training as laid down by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
This will all be working towards you achieving a qualification as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
You must be a highly motivated and hard-working individual with good communication skills. Working as part of a close-knit legal team, the ideal candidate will be adaptable, have excellent attention to detail and be keen to work with stakeholders in legal and across the wider university community.
