About us
De Pinna LLP is a 240-year-old legal services firm located in the West End and Canary Wharf. As a leading specialist notary practice in the UK, De Pinna has an enviable client portfolio comprising around a third of the FTSE 100, some of the largest multinational companies, and high net worth individuals.
The role
We are recruiting high calibre law graduates (English Law) with excellent language skills to train and qualify as Scrivener Notaries – a specialist arm of the legal profession. This is a rare opportunity to follow a rewarding legal career outside of a law firm, with varied, fast-paced work, based in central London, working in a diverse workplace for predominantly corporate international clients.
There will be excellent opportunities to advance in a rewarding legal role that will also enable you to use and develop your language skills. Successful candidates will need to be fluent in both English and at least one other "commercially significant" language.
De Pinna are looking for candidates who can demonstrate technical precision, commercial acumen, and the drive to succeed. Knowledge of one or more civil law legal system will be an advantage although not essential.
During training and beyond, you can expect to develop the highest levels of notary expertise in this complex and highly specialised area of the law, equipping you to produce quality work within the strictest of deadlines, to be used in jurisdictions across the world.
Our people have to be able to work independently with focus and dedication, whilst also being supportive of colleagues in our collaborative and lively working environment. To maintain that, we aim to recruit people with the personal skills and attitude that enable them to work effectively with other team members.
The position is permanent, starting in Summer/Autumn 2019.
