Our Legal organisation focuses on connecting our customers’ businesses to the ever-changing legal and regulatory environment. We provide critical online and print information, decision support tools, software and services to lawyers who practice in law firms, in corporate legal departments and in the public sector. We are a growing business in the UK, especially since the acquisition of Practical Law Company in March 2013 and we are very excited about the next stage in our growth and how you can play a part in it.
Paralegal - What's Market (Practical Law Company)
Role purpose:
As a paralegal, you will provide support to the editorial team in the following areas: research, administration, writing summaries of corporate finance transactions and trend awareness updates.
Key activities:
-
Carrying out daily trawls of relevant websites and other sources and identifying relevant deal and general meeting announcements and developments of interest to PLC What’s Market subscribers.

Writing, proofing and publishing summaries of corporate finance transactions for What’s Market.

Reviewing and proofing materials for What’s Market.
-
Carrying out research.
-
General administration duties.
Qualifications

Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.

Personal experience:

Degree educated, ideally no less than 2.1 and have completed the LPC or equivalent.

Have an interest in corporate law and regulation, ideally through either work experience or as part of an academic course (although this is not essential).

The ability to learn quickly and to assimilate complex information.
