ACA Law Ltd are seeking a dedicated, bright candidate to join the friendly and hard-working team.
Established 20 years ago we have a strong client following. We are a small team who pride ourselves on creating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, many of whom have been instructing us exclusively for years.
At present we have very busy criminal and extradition departments. Our wills and probate department is expanding rapidly.
We are looking for a candidate who has the confidence and ability to hit the ground running. This will be a hands-on role which will involve working on live cases, with close supervision and assistance. The right candidate will understand the importance of communications skills with clients, colleagues and other professionals. Most importantly the right candidate will have the desire and will to succeed.
The role will be, at first, primarily assisting with our existing criminal caseload. The successful candidate will be assigned their own cases for which they will be responsible for. They will also be trained towards obtaining their police station accreditation to enable them to represent suspects who are interviewed by the police.
The candidate who would excel in this role needs to be able to engage on an equal footing with people from all social backgrounds, and will need to be able to sympathise with people who find themselves in difficult situations, whilst remaining firmly professional at all times.
As this is a paralegal position that may lead to a training contract the ideal candidate will be an LPC graduate. Undergraduate degree classification is of little relevance to us in comparison to the above qualities.
