In return we can offer you a breadth of experience in many areas of legal work, and set you off in your career.
With the support and guidance of the legal team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in many specialities, including planning, commercial property, licensing, civil and criminal litigation. In addition, you will advise at committees and conduct advocacy in magistrates and county courts, as appropriate.
Self-motivated and confident, with an ability to think creatively under pressure, you will have excellent written and interpersonal skills, and a 2.1 (or higher) in a law degree. In return, we will provide you with exposure to the sort of case work you may not get elsewhere, plus the opportunity to build on your existing legal experience in an innovative and creative borough council.
