Customer support assistant

Law Business Research (LBR) is a technology-enabled information services business powering the global legal industry with intelligence, analytics, and performance data. We deliver must-have intelligence to our clients when they need it, through a combination of time-sensitive insight, proprietary data and analytics, expert research, and sophisticated tools.

We are seeking a customer support assistant to join our growing customer success team. You will be responsible for ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and support. You will directly interact with clients collaborating with colleagues in sales, account management and product to quickly solve or escalate inbound client's queries. This role is key to our mission to put customers and their experience with our services at the heart of our business.

You will be providing top class and timely support to our clients and will have an appreciation of truly fantastic customer service along with ideas about how best to deliver it. In this role you will become an enthusiastic product expert, learning our product inside and out so that you can:

  • Resolve or escalate inbound customer queries;
  • Assist with the fulfilment of new subscriptions to our platforms; and
  • Support the team during the sales and renewal cycle.

You have a keen attention to detail, enjoy organising and have excellent time management skills so that you can:

  • Adapt to emerging priorities;
  • Update CRM and internal systems accurately; and
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A problem solver;
  • Self-motivated and driven;
  • A clear communicator, comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels on the phone and by email;
  • Interested in learning - curious, and comfortable asking questions;
  • Empathetic, able to connect with customers in a genuine way;
  • Highly organised and adaptable to emerging priorities;
  • A solid teammate - able to work independently or collaborate as appropriate.
