Junior Lawyers Division essay competition 2014 now open for submissions

updated on 17 April 2014

The Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) has launched its annual essay competition.

All students, paralegals and trainees registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) are welcome to take part in the competition. This year’s question is: "Technology advances have dramatically changed the legal sector in recent years. How do you think solicitors can further adapt to accommodate these advances? Will there still be a place for solicitors in 20 years?"

Essays must be no more than 2,000 words in length. The winner will receive £500, while runners up will each get £250. Entries should be submitted to the JLD at [email protected] by Thursday 31 July.

Students not registered with the SRA who wish to take part can do seek more information on the SRA website.
