Future Legal Mind Award 2019 launched by National Accident Helpline

updated on 05 December 2018

Submissions are now open for the 2019 Future Legal Mind Award essay competition run by National Accident Helpline.

Launched in 2014, Future Legal Mind is recognised as a springboard for aspiring lawyers, with the winner receiving a range of prizes including mentoring and networking guidance, as well as a £2,000 cash prize. Ten entrants will be shortlisted for the award.

This year the entry criteria for the competition has been broadened to include those currently working towards a nationally recognised law or legal services qualification and those who have achieved one within the last two years.

Simon Trott, managing director of National Accident Helpline and chairman of the judging panel, said: “We first launched the Future Legal Mind Award to bring recognition to young legal talents who share our passion for giving customers the best service possible. The 2019 entry process and prize package has been enhanced to reflect our commitment to attract the very best people to the legal sector as well as the modern challenges they face in the early stages of their career.”

Entries will close at the end of February 2019, with applicants required to produce a personal response (500-650 words) to a statement. Those selected for the shortlist will then be invited to submit a short homemade video to support their written response.
