Edwards Wildman Palmer merges with Locke Lord

Edwards Wildman Palmer has announced its merger with Locke Lord LLP, to form Locke Lord Edwards – a 1,000 lawyer firm with 23 offices around the world.
The two legacy firms signed a letter of intent in September 2014, with partners at each agreeing to the merger in December.
Jerry Clements, chair of the merged firm, said: "We could not be more excited or ignited about our combination. We have two firms where the people genuinely like each other, have already formed teams with strong camaraderie, and who share a strong commitment to their clients and in helping their clients succeed."
