Aspiring Solicitors Pride event

Aspiring Solicitors are looking forward to the first AS Pride event (for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Asexual/Aromantic, Allies and Advocates) on 1 December 2016 from 3pm-8pm followed by networking at 10 Queen St Pl, London EC4R 1BE. We have joined forces with King & Wood Mallesons who are recently announced their new ‘Link’ LGBTQA network and who are also hugely committed to Aspiring Solicitors and diversity and inclusion throughout the firm.

We will be inviting 100+ legal professionals, Professional Ambassadors, AS Advisory Board Members and Aspiring Solicitors members. Places will be offered on a first come first served basis.

The agenda will include: applying to law firms as an LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Asexual/Aromantic) candidate, LGBTQA role models in the legal profession; LGBTQA experiences in-house and in private practice, challenges and the future in the profession and networking.
