Penningtons and Manches merge

Penningtons Solicitors and Manches LLP have announced their merger, effective as of 14 October 2013.

The newly-merged firm is now known as Penningtons Manches. It has seven offices - one each in London, Basingstoke, Oxford, Cambridge, Reading, Godalming and Guildford - and over 600 staff, including 115 partners. The firm boasts a combined turnover of £58 million. Notably, the move integrates Penningtons' reputable private client team with Manches’ leading family law practice.

David Raine, chief executive of Penningtons Manches, said: "The synergy between Penningtons and Manches was evident early on in our discussions and by joining together we will be able to offer an enhanced level of expertise to all our clients. The strong reputation and combined experience of our people will enable us to maximise our potential in our core practice areas and in the key sectors in which we operate."
