This year National Paralegal Day is scheduled to take place on 11 November 2025 for those across England and Wales. The event is hosted online by the professional paralegal body, the National Association of Licensed Paralegals (NALP), and is sponsored by Mindful Education and BARBRI.

The day aims to celebrate and recognise the work of paralegals – professionals who are often unsung heroes. The event will feature interviews with winners who achieved top grades over the year, alongside videos from the event’s sponsors and winning NALP approved centres.

This year’s award categories are:

  • L3 Certificate for Paralegal Technicians;
  • L4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies;
  • L7 Diploma in Paralegal Practice;
  • The Level 3 Diploma in Paralegal Practice;
  • The Level 3 Certificate in Paralegal Practice; and
  • The Level 3 Award in Paralegal Practice.

Paralegals support solicitors and teams in delivering services to clients across various organisations, from law firms to local authorities and FTSE100 companies. Additionally, thousands of individuals benefit from the support of paralegals who help provide access to more affordable legal representation.

NALP CEO, Chantal Cooke, shared: “This is such an important event as it helps shine a light on the invaluable work that paralegals do. They form the backbone of the legal sector and it’s important they are recognised and celebrated for their contribution. Every paralegal, at whatever stage of their career, should be proud to be a paralegal – and I hope National Paralegal Day helps to show just how proud we are of the role they play in helping people access justice at a reasonable cost.”
