The London Legal Support Trust is celebrating 10 years of work with legal advice centres, as it plays host to a 'dazzling decade' party in October.
The LLST has raised over £4 million since it was established in 1994, providing support to over 100 legal advice centres. Its fundraising events enjoy widespread support from the legal community, including the London Legal Walk and the Great Legal Bake.
The anniversary party, sponsored by Lexacom Digital Dictation, will be held at the Royal College of Surgeons on 23 October 2014, with barrister and star of TV show Judge Rinder, Robert Rinder attending the celebrations. Nominations are being taken for "unsung heroes" of free legal advice, who will be recognised for their essential contributions at the event. You can submit your nominations for unsung heroes, as well as inspiring case stories, until 3 October.
Bob Nightingale, chief executive of the LLST, said: “We hope all our supporters will join us for our dazzling decade celebratory party and help us continue the important fundraising work we have become known for.”
