One of the newest US entrants to the UK legal market - Locke Lord - has announced that it is currently recruiting trainees to start in September 2013.
The Lawyer reports that the firm has been interviewing over recent weeks for two trainee positions, with salaries yet to be decided. Locke Lord partner Paula Howard said: "The office is substantially larger than it was, even last summer. With teams and departments becoming more established there are two reasons for taking on trainees: the assistance they bring and the fact that we like to bring on young talent."
The US firm opened its London office in January 2012. The firm specialises in energy, infrastructure and insolvency, and currently has around 30 lawyers in London.
