Research carried out by recruitment consultancy Robert Walters has suggested that there has been renewed growth in the legal jobs market.
The study found that figures at both yearly and quarterly levels demonstrated an increase in the number of jobs advertised compared with the 2013-14 period. Considering the growth across the regions, London generated the biggest year-on-year increase in the country while hiring in the North West remained flat.
Director of legal recruitment at Robert Walters, Colin Loth, commented: "Many of these increases can be broadly linked to the scale of the economic recovery. Rising business confidence has delivered a positive rippling effect throughout much of the legal sector, boosting demand and prompting legal professionals to consider new career opportunities."
