LawCareersNetLIVE supports delegates from underrepresented backgrounds

Reading time: one minute.

LawCareers.Net has teamed up with diversity organisations Aspiring Interns and upReach to offer free places to LawCareersNetLIVE.

Free places will also be awarded to candidates from low socio-economic backgrounds and those who are unable to afford the delegate fee.

Aspiring Interns and upReach members will have the opportunity to attend the legal careers conferences taking place in Manchester, London and virtually later this year.

To apply for a free place, all you need to do is submit your LawCareersNetLIVE application as usual, and email [email protected] when you have done so. If you are successful in securing a place, LawCareers.Net will be in touch about booking onto the event for free.

To demonstrate and promote a diverse legal profession, LawCareers.Net has put together a set of guidelines to outline our commitment to diversity at our events. LawCareersNetLIVE sponsor firms are asked to consider these guidelines when putting forward speakers and selecting workshops leaders and those to represent the firm at the event. Speakers who don’t fulfil any of our diversity criteria are encouraged to promote someone who does to take their place.

The LawCareers.Net team blind screens applications; all applications are reviewed regardless of academic result or university attended.

Applications for LawCareersNetLIVE close on 28 October. Head to the LawCareersNetLIVE microsite for more information and to apply.
