Devonshires has maintained 100% of its newly qualified solicitors for the fourth consecutive year, across its offices in London and Leeds.

Four solicitors have qualified with the firm: Tommy Evans (litigation and dispute resolution); Michelle Pascua (banking, governance and corporate); and Charlotte Greatorex and Courtney William-Jones (housing management and property litigation).

On top of this, seven new trainees joined the firm in October 2022, taking the firm’s current trainee count to 21, with 17 in London and a further four in Leeds.

The full-service law firm, which operates in London, Leeds, Birmingham and Colchester has a client base that ranges from multi-national corporations to private individuals.

Chris Drabble, partner and training principal at Devonshires congratulated the four newly-qualified solicitors and said that the firm is “very proud” of its training programme, which is “founded on nurturing the best talent and supporting personal growth”.

He added: “The fact that we have again maintained our retention rate is a testament to the programme’s success.

“I’m looking forward to watching our newly qualified solicitors as they develop into future leaders of the firm. I also extend a warm welcome into the Devonshires’ family to all of our new trainees; may they enjoy long and successful careers with us.”

The firm’s next training contract application will open on 1 February 2023.
