Deloitte Legal has entered a strategic partnership with legal AI platform Legora in the UK to accelerate the transformation of legal services. The collaboration, announced on 8 September, aims to reshape how legal teams operate by implementing AI-driven solutions that go beyond task-based productivity gains and into full-service redesign.

Deloitte Legal and Legora will work together to support legal clients in developing and implementing their AI strategies. The firms aim is to use AI to transform the value of legal services by delivering better business outcomes.

Deloitte Legal global and UK leader, Richard Punt, commented: “Together, we will help our clients provide more insightful, efficient, and effective legal solutions and re-design how legal services are delivered, providing new value and better outcomes.”

The plan includes introducing more data-driven insights, reshaping the client-provider relationship, developing future legal talent, and strengthening the data and knowledge foundations. In addition, Deloitte Legal will develop pre-built solutions and custom workflows for specific use cases on the Legora platform, which will be offered to in-house legal departments and law firms to help transform their ways of working.

Legora’s technology not only helps lawyers review and research faster, draft with precision and automate high-volume tasks, but also accelerates junior lawyers’ development and strengthens collaboration between law firms and in-house teams.

Legora CEO Max Junestrand said: “This new relationship with Deloitte Legal allows us to push the boundaries of what legal technology can achieve and set a new standard for the delivery of legal services. Together, we’re equipping Deloitte Legal’s own team – and their client base – with customised, cutting-edge AI solutions to transform their operations – helping them to work smarter, faster and deliver better outcomes.”
