CityLawLIVE and NationalLawLIVE, LCN’s one-day student conferences for aspiring solicitors, have announced that they are jointly extending their deadline to Sunday 5 November. Giving applicants an additional week in which to submit will hopefully attract those students who may not have had the time to get their applications in for consideration.
The events each feature an impressive roster of sponsor firms, hands-on workshops and insightful panel discussions. The day’s programme is packed with plenty of opportunities to network and chat with representatives from what could be your future employer.
Sinead Dineen, managing director of LCN and one of the organisers of CityLawLIVE and NationalLawLIVE, says: “These are unique events that offer the chance to meet partners, trainees and graduate recruiters from top City and national law firms. We handpick the best student delegates to spend the day with these representatives – delegates we believe could go on to become excellent trainees at our sponsor firms.” Sinead outlines exactly how applications are assessed in this blog piece, entitled “Five top tips for applications to CityLawLIVE and NationalLawLIVE – and how the process mirrors applying for a training contract”.
To apply, visit the CityLawLIVE or NationalLawLIVE websites or go direct to the application form here and submit before midnight on 5 November.
