BCLP takes new brand to Hong Kong and Singapore

updated on 03 September 2018

Recently merged Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has been granted approval to provide legal services in Hong Kong and Singapore, further cementing its status as a leading international firm.

As the Law Gazette reports, previous work in Hong Kong was conducted in association with Haley Ho and Partners, but the homegrown firm will now operate under the BCLP brand. In both Hong Kong and Singapore, BCLP will provide services in real estate, energy and infrastructure, litigation and private wealth asset protection.

Andrew MacGeoch, managing partner of the Hong Kong and Singapore offices, said: “With increased knowledge and depth globally, we’re in a great position to offer clients an enhanced range of services as they seek advice on increasingly complex international matters. As we grow our Asia business our strategy will be to continue investing in these and other growing sectors, where clients need our support locally, regionally and globally. We look forward to serving our loyal clients as well as new and prospective clients in Asia.”

BCLP is the result of a merger between Berwin Leighton Paisner and US-headquartered Bryan Cave that went through in April. The firm employs some 1,600 lawyers across 32 offices in 11 countries.
