LPC and BPTC students keen to boost their CVs might be interested in a new competition being run by the Sentencing Council, the first prize of which is a law firm work placement or mini-pupillage.
Reported on All About Law, the first round of the competition will take place in February and consists of a written submission; the six highest-scoring entrants will then compete in a semi-final and final at the Old Bailey in March - presided over by Lord Justice Leveson. The winner will earn either a work placement at law firm Lewis Nedas & Co or a mini-pupillage at crime chambers QEB Hollis Whiteman.
All LPC and BPTC students are eligible to take part. If you'd like to enter, email your details (ie, name, course and university/law school) to [email protected] by Tuesday 1 February to receive further information.
