The ongoing Legal Education and Training Review, being undertaken by the SRA, the BSB and ILEX, now has its own website - www.letr.org.uk.
The site aims to encourage awareness of, and communication about, the progress of the review. Professor Julian Webb from the University of Warwick, who is leading the research, said: "The website is a key component of the review's communications strategy. It has been designed to encourage and facilitate participation, as well as to provide information on progress. We believe it will provide an indispensable resource on the work of the review."
The primary objective of the review is to ensure that England and Wales has a legal education and training system which is robust enough to promote the regulatory objectives contained in the Legal Services Act 2007.
Keep an eye on the website to get a sense of how the review is going and where it's headed.
