The Law Society is taking to the road with a Question Time-style show, designed to raise awareness among the profession about the opportunities and challenges in 2011 and beyond.
Law Society President Linda Lee and Chief Executive Desmond Hudson will be touring major UK cities, meeting solicitors and answering questions on a range of topics. The road show will be in the following cities on the following dates: Newcastle - 18 April; Leeds - 19 April; Bristol - 20 April; and Cardiff - 20 April. London and Birmingham events have already taken place.
Lee says: "This is a year of change for solicitors and the Question Time road shows will give our members the opportunity to find out what the society is doing to help prepare for that change. The tour will be a two-way process. We want to hear solicitors' concerns and hopes for the new-look legal landscape."
