LawCareers.Net and BPP University: the SQE and social mobility

One of the main reasons that the Solicitors Regulation Authority introduced the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) route to qualification, was in an effort to promote social mobility, but will the new regime lead to an increase in diversity within the legal profession?

Hear from a panel of SQE tutors, students, and organisations who promote diversity and inclusion in law talk about the SQE and social mobility, including:

  • what’s going well and what still needs to be improved;
  • how to get help with funding SQE preparation courses; and
  • initiatives to promote access to the legal profession for people from all backgrounds.

This masterclass will be hosted by LawCareers.Net and Jonny Hurst, head of outreach and student recruitment and senior lecturer at BPP University.

There will be time for questions at the end of the discussion.
