An opportunity for students to network with Black and Asian barristers from all practise areas, reshaping the image many students have of the Bar. Dame Linda Dobbs, the first ever non-white person to be appointed to the Senior Judiciary of the UK will appear as guest speaker.
Dame Linda Dobbs will begin the evening with a short speech. Cake & Counsel will then organise a speed networking activity to ensure students meet as many barristers in the room as possible. This will be followed by a drinks reception.
The Arcade is located on the ground floor of Bush House.
This event is being organised in collaboration with the organisation Cake & Counsel and we are delighted to say is being sponsored by Atkin Chambers and the Chancery Bar Association.
