Sidley Austin LLP are offering first year law and non-law students the opportunity to attend an open day.
We hope the day will give you a real insight into life at Sidley and help you decide whether this is the firm at which you would like to train.
During the open day you will be given the chance to speak informally to trainees, associates and partners. Our graduate recruitment team will also be available to offer advice on applying for training contracts.
You will be given an overview of the firm and its practice areas and shown around the office so that you get a feel for our environment and culture.
We are looking for candidates with excellent academics and who are expected to achieved a 2:1 or first class honours degree.
To apply for one of our open days, please write a statement detailing your academic results from GCSE (or equivalent) onwards. The statement should also cover what appeals to you about a career in a city law firm and detail a current commercial issue that has interested you. You should aim to keep your statement to one page of A4.
Our open days will be held on 5 March 2019 (deadline: 11 February 2019) and 19 March 2019 (deadline: 25 February 2019). Please email your application to Nicole Katz, Graduate Recruitment Manager at [email protected].
