Kaplan Law School/Chris Stoakes: financial markets
Kaplan Finance Group presents an evening dedicated to City law. Chris Stoakes, author of Commercial Awareness and Know The City, will bring his experience as a banking lawyer, management consultant and Hogan Lovells' director of knowledge & learning, delivering talks on City finance and commercial awareness. The talk will cover:
- Who are the principal players and what do they do?
- What is quantitative easing and how do interest rates affect markets?
- What is a "casino bank" and why does it need to be ringfenced?
