The Law Students' Network Birmingham - forum about the legal profession

This event will be an interactive session which will require the full participation from all attendees. The idea of this event is to give attendees the opportunity to ask panel members about their experiences when they applied for training contracts, vacation schemes and legal jobs. It will also include a short presentation from Matthew Broadbent about LawCareers.Net and the My LC.N function on the website.

This event is not to be missed as it will provide students with an excellent platform to network and enable students to find out more about the panel members' experiences when they were planning their legal careers. The panel members are from a range of firms, city firms, international firms and national firms which makes this event a truly unique and promising one. Panel members include:

Mariyam Harunah- Treasurer of the Law Students’ Network and first-year trainee solicitor at DLA Piper in Birmingham.
Eleanor Baynes - First-year trainee solicitor at Wragge & Co.
Bobby Kensah-  Newly qualified corporate finance solicitor at Norton Rose and winner or the Law Society’s ‘Pro Bono Lawyer of the year’ 2010 and the Black Solicitors Network ‘Promising Lawyer of the Year’ 2010.
