Aristotle said, 'Law is reason free from passion.' However, at Roehampton Law School, we believe passion is the reason to pursue law. Our courses are designed to enable you to practice law in a real life environment where you are supported to act like a lawyer from the start.
The Law School's main focus is to provide students with the legal skillsets they need to succeed through a 'law in practice' environment supported by experienced legal practitioners and academics. It forms a part of a Social Sciences department with an international reputation for teaching and research.
The university is situated on a beautiful parkland campus in the heart of south-west London enabling you to gain access to the legal world. The University has a proud history stretching back 175 years through our four colleges and is ranked as the best modern university in London according to all three major league tables: the Complete University Guide 2016, Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016 and Guardian University Guide 2016.
Graduate Diploma in Law

This intensive one year full time course centres on 'practice-based' learning; it aims to develop your understanding of law in the context of everyday life and modern legal practice.
