Nottingham Law School has been delivering excellence in legal education for over 50 years and is one of the largest and most diverse law schools in the UK. We deliver high-quality, practical education and training to help you launch a successful legal career. Based on the city campus, Nottingham Law School is a vibrant place to study and is just a few minutes' walk from Nottingham city centre. At Nottingham Law School, you will have access to outstanding facilities tailored to equip you for a successful career in law.
We have a dedicated careers and recruitment service for our professional and postgraduate courses, providing our students with guidance and assistance in their search for a training contract, pupillage and work experience.
We offer competitive scholarships to UK, EU and international students for both our postgraduate and professional courses.
For non-Law graduates interested in becoming a solicitor or barrister, our GDL is the stepping stone to the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC), and a career as a solicitor or barrister thereafter. The course is approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board. You can study our GDL full-time or by distance learning.
Our enhanced Legal Practice Course (LPC) will provide you with the best training currently available. The successful completion of all elements of the LLM LPC will result in the award of a Masters degree, as well as our internationally recognised LPC qualification. You’ll leave us with a strong insight into the profession, and be well-placed to succeed in the legal sector. You can study our LLM LPC on a full or part-time basis.
Nottingham Law School has a proven track record in practical skills training and is one of only a few educational establishments validated by the Bar Standards Board to deliver the BPTC. We offer a one-year LLM BPTC, which means you have the option to also gain a masters qualification as part of your course. Our pupillage rate is consistently above the national average.
Our Masters of Law (LLM) courses allow you to explore the areas of Law that most interests you. You will acquire valuable skills that provide an excellent progression platform into a wide range of challenging and rewarding careers. Our flexible approach means our courses are taught across a variety of study modes: full-time, part-time and distance learning.
