LC.N Weekly is our free weekly newsletter designed
to keep you up-to-date with all the issues relating to finding a career in the
legal profession. Each week we analyse firms, write features, seek out the most
important legal news stories and much, much more - all sent straight to your
inbox. Over 10,000 already receive the newsletter; why not join them?
Each week you will receive:
News: We provide an ongoing news service for
you, highlighting key stories from the legal press and elsewhere. The emphasis
is, of course, on training and recruitment issues, but we cover all the big law
stories too.
LC.N Focus: Each week we put a different
firm in the spotlight. We analyse the various sources of information available
(firms' own sites, the legal and business press, client guides and our own
information) and produce an objective guide to that firm. LC.N should be your
starting point for researching any firm.
The Oracle: We often receive requests for
help and advice from future trainees and pupils. We've now formalised this
process in a 'problem page' format. The Oracle will help you solve all those
tricky problems relating to the recruitment process. Letters of particular
interest, or letters that serve to illustrate common issues, are published in
the newsletters and on the site. Whether published or not, every letter that we
receive gets an answer. In addition to our own expertise, we use a network of
leading university careers advisers to ensure that you get the best possible
counsel.
Features: Every fortnight we publish a new
feature article designed to increase your knowledge of the recruitment process
or the legal profession as a whole. Some are produced in-house, others by
experts from firms, chambers, universities and bodies within the legal
community (eg, the Trainee Solicitors' Group).
LC.N Diary: Many firms are travelling the
country to meet candidates and raise their own profiles. By consulting our
diary you'll know what events are happening near you (ie, who will be there,
and when and where the events take place).
